‘Tis the season for Bachelorette trips and what better place to go to than Music City? As much as brides want their wedding to be special and unique, same goes for their bachelorette party weekend! Whether your bride loves music, adventure, or is just looking for a stress free weekend away from all the wedding planning, I am here to help. Nashville has become the go-to place, however, the list I have created will guarantee a weekend that will never be forgotten.
First things first, book a place to stay as soon as y’all decide on a date. I’m telling you, Nashville is a hit. Between the Titans, Predators and all the amazing artists performing at Bridgestone Arena, hotels stay booked up. But… if you do wait until last minute, Air Bnb has you covered. It will save you a ton of money and they have a great homey feel. There are plenty of Air Bnb locations near downtown and uber/lyft drivers are always seconds away.
Next, designate someone from the bridal party to be in charge of designing the shirts. Cliche’ as it may seem, random people you meet throughout the day will be congratulating your bride-to-be which makes all the more fun and matching shirts always make for cuter pictures. Let’s be real, were you really there if you didn’t take a picture?
Ascend Amphitheatre Outdoor Concerts
Centennial Park Live On The Green
My all-time favorite concert since moving here was at Ascend Amphitheatre. It may have just been Brett Eldredge who made it a night to remember, but something about an outdoor concert, downtown by the riverfront, you do not want to miss. You couldn’t go wrong at any music venue, I mean.. it is Music City. But another great option, which just so happens to be absolutely free is Live On The Green at Nashville’s Centennial Park. It begins in August and runs through Labor Day weekend so be sure to check their websites for the dates and artists.
Rent B Cycle Bikes
Sprocket Rocket Pedal Tavern: BYOB
Rent kayaks at River Queen Voyages
Studio Goddess Pole Dancing
I know what you’re thinking, Pole Dancing?! I can’t dance to save my life, add a pole and I’m just that much more awkward. I’d like to tell you that I got the hang of it, but… what I can tell you is that we all had such a great time. I got more of a workout from laughing at all of us more than anything so I would totally recommend stepping out of your comfort zone and giving this class a shot. Sprocket Rocket is also a ton of fun. Pedaling around downtown Nashville singing at the top of your lungs with all your best friends, what more could you ask for? Renting Bikes is also a great way to get exercise and get around town if you don’t love fighting the downtown Nashville traffic. They have a ton of different locations to pick up and drop off the bikes and its super cheap, like $5 for the day.
Opry Mills Mall
Green Hills Mall
Each of these different neighborhoods have tons to offer. The Gulch is near downtown Nashville and has the best picture backdrops painted onto their walls with tons of shops, restaurants, and hotels to choose from. 12 South is only about 2 miles from the Gulch. It too has some of the cutest painted back drops, shops to walk around outdoors to, as well as restaurants that I will list down below. Of course there is the Opry Mills & Green Hills mall with every store you could think of and you know its not a complete trip to Nashville without stopping to shop before you leave.
Salon & Spa Day
Painting With A Twist
The Nail Bar
Woodhouse Day Spa
For my own Bachelorette weekend, we went to the Nail Bar and they treated us like royalty. The atmosphere is unlike any Nail Salon you’ve seen before. They have a lotion bar where you pick what smell you like best, many different options of manis/pedis, and if you BYOB they will personally serve it to you. I also think that a day spent at the Spa, is a day well spent. So I recommend checking out some of the local spas to see what the group rates are. If you are looking for a more calm, after dinner activity, I think the Dabble Studio or Painting With A Twist would be the perfect choice.
Another Broken Egg Cafe
Rock Bottom Brewery
Well, there you have it ladies. There are so many fun things to choose from, the only problem you should run into all weekend is not having enough time to do it all. Feel free to ask me any questions or leave any comments letting me know how your bachelorette parties here in Nashville turned out. I will be sure to keep this list updated as Nashville continues to be such a hot spot for all things bridal party. Happy Bachelorette weekend, yall!
